Work, work, work, work, work, work
Yeah I’m still jamming to that RiRi hit but….I’m really referring to work – like the full-time gig.
Whether it’s a 9 to 5 structure, remote set up or even a self-employed environment, clothes are still required. And things can get a little hairy when the weather changes from Summer to Fall. So let’s delve into some fall workwear options. Shall we?
Disclaimer: Now before we get into all the style goodies, I do want to say that I currently work in a casual corporate environment so my outfits may be a bit relaxed compared to other workplaces. However, you can still adopt some of the pieces I wear and make them work for you!
Here are 10+ outfits to inspire your fall workwear style!
(1) Maxi Skirt Maven
Use your summer maxi skirt to transition your workwear for the Fall. Just pair it with a denim shirt and you’ll be good to go!
(2) Print Queen
Match a blazer with printed pants and a scarf to create a culturally inspired look. Then compliment the outfit with matching heels.
(3) Leather Princess
Do you work in the fashion industry? Is your job less strict on the length of your skirt? Wear a pleated leather skirt with a tailored blouse for a day-to-night look.
(4) Janelle Monae’s Sis
Rock the black and white look with a hint of red just like music star and style icon, Janelle Monae.
(5) Zipper Lover
Keep it classy and edgy in a skirt with a zipper detail paired with a blazer and minimal accessories.
(6) 90’s Girl
Feeling the 90’s right now? Wear a wrap dress, a classic white button down shirt, and a bandana to show off how much you’re into the vibe.
(7) Color Chick
Maybe you love interior design? Maybe you love to build outfits based on color palettes. In that case, show off how well you can pair colors together with your outerwear and trousers.
(8) Floppy Hat Lass
Hats aren’t necessarily the obvious choice for work. But if you’re generally going to be outside attending an event, assisting at a photoshoot or running office errands, then a floppy hat should be a part of your fall work outfit combo!
(9) Dress Pants Lady
Working in a professional corporate environment? Then put your dress pants to work! Instead of wearing an expected monotone look, switch it up with a colorful blouse and an unconventional scarf.
(10) Neon Baby
I’m not saying you have to be a child but to keep things fresh and fun, throw on a 3/4 sleeve neon dress.
(11) Trench Coat Royalty
Sometimes all you need is jeans and a trench coat. The rest is completely up to you!
