Recently, as in last weekend, I took a pole dancing class.

Random, right?

Well, in my defense, it was part of my twinsie’s bachelorette party, and it revealed something to me about women – we all have an inner Sasha Fierce.

During the class, we learned the basic moves for dancing and, trust me, it was just embarrassing! It just felt awkward to be learning something that society turns down its eye on. But again, not only was it a workout but it also revealed different sides of each lady in attendance.

Some of us were great at sliding down the pole. Others were great at popping our booties. We all had our own thing and expressed our feminine confidence in different ways. (And that’s all I’m going to say about that lol because what happens at the bachelorette party, stays there).

It was absolutely beautiful. Almost similar to how different dresses you own reveal different slices of who you are. Some dresses are bright and sassy. Some are more laissez-faire. Others are glamorous and make you feel like a princess. And there are some that encompass all your personality traits into one. The question is, are you brave enough to share who you are with the world? Or, do you allow yourself to be confined in the walls society and others have built around you?
