Save Time By Having a Go-To Outfit
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Have you ever seen this quote before?
I bet you didn’t think it would apply to style, did you? But it does!!
Think about it.
You aren’t really able to control how people treat you, or when your car will breakdown, BUT you are definitely able to save time in your morning routine. AND you can do it by creating a go-to outfit!
If you’re anything like me, doing this will come in handy on those days when you’re in a rush, or have to run somewhere last-minute plus it’ll keep you feeling and looking your best.
And who doesn’t want to look their best?
Here’s How To Easily Create a Go-To Outfit This Summer
(1) Choose your favorite blouse.
This could be something as simple as a white V-neck tee to a blush blazer.
My current fave is print wrap blouse that defines my waste and is still loose enough to keep me cool in the heat.
(2) Choose your best-fitting pair of pants.
And I mean, your best-fitting pair! Is it leggings? Is it that rust-colored cigarette pant that you found at the vintage store downtown?
Whatever it is, pull that beauty out of your closet and pair it with the blouse that you love.
What’s my pair of choice? My boyfriend jeans. They never fail me!
(3) Add those shoes that make you feel like a boss.
You know, that pair of shoes that make you feel powerful AF!
They don’t have to be heels. They could be combat boots, gladiator sandals, or maybe even colorful flip-flops.
The point is that you wear what makes you feel like a million bucks.
(4) Accessorize with the basics.
Lastly, accessorize! And keep it simple!
Remember this is a go-to outfit. So think of a cute purse that adds a pop of color, or maybe even simple studs or hoop earrings to complete your look.
