A Unique Way To Approach Consistent Content Creation

A Unique Way To Approach Consistent Content Creation

What does it take to create consistent content?

The answer is quite simple!

In fact, content creators don’t need to look any further than their favorite TV shows to get inspiration.

So let’s start there!

A Unique Approach To Consistent Content Creation

When you think of your favorite TV show, let’s say Shark Tank, you know that it has a schedule and that each episode airs at the same time, on the same day every week for a season.

Then they take breaks to prepare for the next set of content, aka next season.

Basically, they (the TV show cast and production team) show up consistently for their fans.

And as content creators, we should do the same thing for our audience!

If you think of each quarter of the year as a season and then plan your content for each quarter, you will basically achieve a content creation schedule.

Then marry this content schedule with the frequency you decided for your content streams, plus show up every time as you promised, and voila! You have the recipe for consistent content.

Now, you could stop there and you’d definitely be successful.

However, there are two(2) mindful best practices I suggest you make a part of your blogging journey, in order to avoid burnout and enjoy your success.

2 Mindful Best Practices for Creating Content

It really doesn’t.

So here are two(2) ways to keep the stress, overwhelm and burnout at bay while pursuing your blogging dreams.

(1) Rest, rest, rest!

Just like God and TV shows, you need to implement rest between each season of your content.

Personally, I put down my laptop and iPhone every 7 days so that I can have a mental break.

Plus I allow myself to have a few family-focused, or me-focused weekends.

In fact, I took one recently and all I did was do my hair and go to a local Japanese Steakhouse with my little family.

I could keep going but you get the point!

It’s okay to take a break, and I encourage you to do so intentionally!

(2) Plan Around Your Lifestyle

Please, please, please understand that your favorite influencers create content around their daily, weekly and monthly priorities.

Some of us have day-jobs, while others do not.

Some of us have kids or are in a relationship, while others don’t have those commitments.

I can even say that some content creators are committed to activities like volunteering for non-profit organizations.

Basically, we do more than just creating content so we do strategically choose how and when we show up for our tribe.

Feel free to do the same!

You can decide to share a blog post every week.

Or maybe, you can decide to publish one post a month.

Since consistency is showing up at the same time, all the time for a season, you can do posts as far apart or as close together as you want.

Just make sure you can stick to it!

Wait, Is Creating Consistent Content That Easy?

Yes, it is!

It’s actually VERY doable!

Sometimes the simplest things are the most impactful, and this unique approach to creating consistent content is a major key.

Not only can you apply this to the launch of your dream blog, or your currently established blog. You can also apply this technique to your content for any social media platform, email marketing, and more!
