I walked into our new bathroom, peed on the take home pregnancy test, and walked away.

I entered our walk-in closet and began to fold our laundry. I didn’t want to know the results. The very thought was too scary.

But I was going to have to confront it sooner than later.

Within two minutes, my husband came to me, grinning from ear.

“I think it’s positive,” he said.

“Are you sure?”

“I think so. I’m so nervous,” he replied with a smile. “You’ll have to look.”

I headed towards the bathroom for the second time. What would be my fate?

Surprise, surprise! The test was positive!

I was pregnant, and now it all made sense.
